The end of an era ...

Thecityvibe.com was founded on 1997  by Alex Papapaschalis & Kostas Efstathiou (globalvibe) and until yesterday (31/8/2011) was supporting the national and international dance/electronic music scene.  It was the first and one of a kind web site in the local market with huge success especially through the years 1998-2008. For 14 years in a row thecityvibe team and associates worked hard in a continuum regarding djs, news, events, promotion, parties, festivals, culture, art and anything was up to date and related to the dance vibe!

This project is ending in a good mood. We feel that we did our passion and duty for almost a decade and a half and we’ll be always remember that we had the privilege to experience great moments, participating or organizing big events and festivals around Greece and beyond!

Nowadays things are changed. The economical crisis around the world and especially in Greece is a fact. Electronic dance music scene is still on of course but there are not a lot of new young listeners to support it, so we feel that this is the moment to say goodbye to all of our visitors supporting us through the years!

Globalvibe network is still on the web industry by launching a new project regarding online advertising called adnow.gr soon to be online plus the snowboard.gr web site that will continue as it was since 1998.
